Welcome lovely readers! The adventures of Ma Te and Bo Tong continued as they try to hustle more socks and “conquer” more women. I love when a plan backfires! Nothing should ever go according to plan in a drama.
I seriously don’t understand why the socks even deserved to continue, but I guess everyone needs a cash cow… The plan seriously back-fired though. All they ended up doing was throwing Ma Te back to In Joong because he needed her to sell them.
In that respect, I was impressed with In Joong last week because she seemed standoffish and willing to let Ma Te go just because she doesn’t like complications. We have now found out that that is certainly not the case. In fact, she’s doing everything she can to hold on to him and it actually took me by surprise.
Enter Woman #4: Myo Mi. World Star. I love the styling they have done for her character and the attitude she has. She’s not overly fluffy, she’s not completely hard either… she’s a good mix of “I’m cute when I want to be but I have been playing this game long enough to know better.” In Joong has Ma Te and Myo Mi start a dating scandal in attempts to clear up the misunderstandings Ma Te caused to try to get out of being In Joong’s lover. Turns out Myo Mi is actually a nice person and wants to help Ma Te get out of In Joong’s web as well.
I was happy that even though there were a lot of jealousy moments between Ma Te and David, there was also an unexpected moment of brotherly/friendship feels. Ma Te insists at staying at David’s house and ends up having to sleep in the same tent. It is revealed that David’s family situation is similar to Ma Te’s, where both miss their mothers and have trouble coping with those feelings. It was a sweet moment!
There is so much more to talk about! Crazy marketing ideas, the new hairstyle Ma Te brings out for Myo Mi… but if I talk about all it now, Leah and I won’t have anything else to talk about. What was your favorite part of the newest episodes? Tweet @Hallyu_Tanya or leave a comment below!
