back off

Hallyu Tanya and I are here, once again, to talk our way through episodes twelve and thirteen of My Lovable Girl and boy oh boy, do we have a lot to talk about! Care to join us?

So what did you think of this week’s rather eventful episodes? Are you happy Se Na finally learned the truth about Hyun Wook’s relationship with her sister or would you hoping that little secret would just stay secret? Am I the only one hoping against hope that Shi Woo ends up being the man for Se Na? Do you think Se Na and Hyun Wook will eventually reunite or is this really the end for them? You know we love hearing your thoughts so be sure to leave us a comment below!

  1. I will be glad when this drama is over. I think that Krystal wasn’t the best casting choice for the role. She just doesn’t seem to have chemistry with anyone. She worships Hyun Wook but it’s not believable as love (it comes across as pathetic) and doesn’t even recognize Shi Woo as man. Maybe it’s the writers’ fault and I’m not being fair to the poor girl, but I’m sick of her and her character. I’d like her to end up with Shi Woo because he cares for her the way a man should care for a woman. He’s grown up a lot. But it’s really only the men’s acting I like in this drama. Its just falling a little flat for me. Krystal needs some emotions other than depressed, or blissfully adoring. I’ll watch it to the end, but I’m not really excited about it. Maybe it’s just because I’m enjoying “Tomorrow’s Cantabile” and “Pride and Prejudice”, but this drama has lost my interest.

    1. I’m as ready for this drama to be over as you are. What started out as cute has quickly become boring and honestly, the only thing keeping me around is the adorable Shi Woo. He’s the only character who has captnured my heart and honestly, I’d rather see him end up with someone who can recognize and treasure his love, than with Se Ne because she’s spent this entire show ignoring his advances and worshiping Hyun Wook. Blah. Idol worship isn’t love and really, Hyun Wook isn’t worthy of either. If I could have my way, Hyun Wook and Hae Yoon would get together, Shi Woo would become incredibly successful as a solo artist, Se Na would do a whole lot more growing up and then maybe, if she proved herself worthy, she and Shi Woo could live happily ever after. Though it pains me to leave Shi Woo lonely for so long. I just think he’d be better off with a Se Na who can understand and appreciate his love, rather than a Se Na who spends all of her time comparing Shi Woo to Hyun Wook. I doubt I’ll get my wish but you never know… Anything’s possible in Drama Land.
