HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: My Lovable Girl Episodes 7-8

kissBelieve it or not, Hallyu Tanya and I are back to talk about some pretty feel intensive episodes of My Lovable GirlWoot!

So tell us, what are you thoughts on these two episodes? Were you feeling the feels like we were or not so much? Is Shi Woo making anyone else suffer some massive second lead feels or am I the only one suffering here? What about this new development between Hyun Wook and Se Na? Are you happy to see them getting together or are you like us and kinda freaking out about the fact that Hyun Wook has still NOT told Se Na about his relationship with her sister? What are your thoughts on Hae Yoon? Is she letting her jealousy getting the better of her or is she totally in the right with the way she’s treating Se Na? As always, we’d love to hear what you’re thinking so be sure to leave us a comment below!

  1. Hae Yoon is definitely letting the jealousy getting the best of her and it’s ruining her friendship with Hyun Wook. He hasn’t showed any romantic interest in her in their 10 year friendship so why would he now? I really want someone to smack some sense into her and show her she’s too good for that. Why make yourself appear to desperate like that? I was happy he kicked her out of his car in episode 8.
Jae Young can fall off a cliff for all I care, he’s not needed in this drama. A useless character just like Shi Woo’s ex.

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more! Hae Yoon just needs to let Hyun Wook go and move on with her life, Jae Young needs to just go die, Shi Woo’s ex could join him for all I care and then life would be good. Well, it would be if Hyun Wook would actually fess up to Se Na. That still bothers me. You can’t keep a secret that big and expect things to be okay once word gets out. Ugh! That’s gonna be so painful to watch, once Se Na learns the truth. I’m really dreading that moment but what can I do? This is Drama Land after all and our journeys throughout are nothing if not painful. Haha.

  2. I like Shi Woo and would love to see him get together with Se Na. He’s spoiled and insecure, but he’s honest about who he is. SeNa appears to be the only person he has reached out to, and at a time when his band members have abandoned him, he could really use a friend. (Besides, he’s L for goodness sake! He’s adorable!!)

The Hyun Wook/Se Na relationship creeps me out. I would not want to kiss someone who’d been with my sister. Maybe it’s just me, but I would always be insecure about whether he was truly attracted to me or if he just saw glimpses of my sister in me. I’m waiting for Hae Yoon to drop that bomb – she will try to play it to her advantage. Hyun Wook will have a lot of explaining to do, and Se Na will be heartbroken.

I’m definitely rooting for the second lead, but have seen enough of these dramas to know its not going to happen. I’ll pretend ShiWoo stands a chance and will keep watching.

    1. Don’t you hate it, how we have to try to convince ourselves that maybe this time the second will actually end up with the girl? I know I’ve been doing the same thing, pretending Shi Woo has a chance when, in reality, he doesn’t. It’s the plight of the Second Lead lover, always rooting for the second, always walking away from a drama with a broken heart. *sigh*

I’m also creeped out by the whole Hyun Wook/Se Na relationship but only because HE STILL HASN’T TOLD HER ABOUT HER SISTER! I will continue to be frustrated by this because this is not something that should be hidden. It should have been brought out into the open a long time ago and the longer Hyun Wook puts this off, the worse things are going to be. If Hae Yoon is the one to drop this truth on Se Na, I may have to push her off a cliff. She’s already nasty enough in her jealousy, I hate the idea of her becoming worse!
