HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Tomorrow’s Cantabile Episodes 1-2

duet

Hey everyone! Hallyu Tanya and I are back with yet another video drama review! (I know, you’re all jumping for joy now. What a coincidence, so are we!) This time we’re reviewing Tomorrow’s Cantabile and I have to say, we’re both pretty darn excited about this one so let’s get to it!

So tell us, what did you think of these first two episodes of Tomorrow’s Cantabile? Are you as excited as we are to have a manga-turned-drama to watch? Are you a fan of the original manga? Maybe you’re a fan of the anime? Or perhaps, like me, you have no idea what the story is about and you’re just along for the ride. If you are a fan of the original work, what do you think of this adaptation so far? Have anything you really love? Anything you’re wishing they’d done differently? What are you most looking forward to as this story unfold? As always, we want to know what you’re thinking so be sure to leave us a comment below!

  1. I watched these two episodes yesterday and LOVE this drama so far. I don’t know the manga, so it’s the storyline is all new to me, but I loved the music (so impressive!). Having many years of classical piano lessons, I know how much skill is involved in creating the musical score for this. WOW! I also loved how three misfits have found each other and am looking forward to watching how their friendships develop. I loved how the leading lady is a kooky musical genius. She’s hysterical. I can’t wait for two more episodes!!

    1. I’m right there with you on this one! I’m such a lover of music (being a classical piano student myself) and the score for this drama has really blown me away. Seriously, there were moments when I got chills. I also love the three main characters, I think they’re crazy (in their own different ways) and quirky and I’m really looking forward to seeing how their relationships develop not only with each other but with the other members of this S Orchestra. I’m so glad the first of this week’s episodes is out because I’m dying to watch more!

  2. I am a huge fan of both the Jdrama and the manga so I was a bit nervous about this remake but it is fantastic! The music is perfect and the actors are doing a great job.
