  1. I definitely left the series feeling more positive about Heechul after the way he handled the last episode. The fact that he could reflect on things he’d done wrong and wished he’d done differently showed growth (like you mentioned). I was a little surprised that Puff was as upset as she was, but it was very sweet. Heechul was mostly a self-absorbed date, but obviously he’d made an impact.

As for Key and Arisa, it felt to me like he was playing the role of her older brother the entire time. His mother raised him to treat a girl respectfully – so except for the one time that he lied and then surprised her at work – he was just adorable. He realized pretty quickly that Arisa was too innocent to play tricks on and adjusted accordingly. I was really impressed with him as a person. He was truly kind throughout. When he was wiping her tears at the end telling her that she should have cried in front of him, I wanted to hug him. What a doll! I feel like they put him at a disadvantage by giving him a wife who was a minor. He was not willing to step over the line of friendship to romance.

As for a third edition – how about AJ from U-Kiss? Mark from Got7? Eric Nam? Just a few bilinguals that come to mind that are adorable. If we’re not worried about language, maybe Onew from Shinee? Hyungsik from ZE:A? Minhyuk from BTOB? Sunqkyu from Infinite?

    1. I think I’d watch any and/or all of the following seasons if any of your suggestions were cast in them! GOT7’s Mark!?! Heck yes! He’s adorable! I wouldn’t mind seeing Jackson in a season either but he may not be cut out for such a romantic reality show… LOL!

I did feel bad for Key, having to play more of a big brother than a husband the entire time. I often got the impression that he wished for a bit more, despite all of Arisa’s efforts. I do applaud her for trying though, she really did make an effort and I’m sure Key appreciated it, it just felt like they were missing that little something that would have made their relationship a bit more… Is interesting the right word? I’m not really sure, there was just something missing that would have been fun to watch, had Key had a “wife” who was actually of age.

I was a bit shocked by Puff’s reaction to the end as well. It seemed like so much of the time she was just annoyed with Heechul but, in the end, I guess she really did enjoy the time they spent together. I’m sure there was a lot of time off-camera where Heechul could have been more of a gentleman and maybe we just never saw that part? I’m not really sure but whatever the reason, I cried right along with both Puff and Arisa when it came time to say goodbye. I can’t help it, I’m such a sap! Ha!
