ZOMBIE’S TOP PICKS: January 2018

In my never-ending quest to come up with new and (hopefully) enjoyable content, I’ve decided to put together a collection of all my favorites from the past month. In part because I thought it would be a fun thing to do and also because I have a really hard time remembering things and I thought this would be a good way to remind myself of everything I’ve watched/listened to/ squealed over this past month. This way when I’m sitting down at the end of the year, trying to remember everything I loved about 2018, I might actually be able to come up with something more than a blank wall inside an empty brain. TUESDAY’S TEASE: EXO’s First Sub-Unit, Mermaids and the Whispered Promise of a BIGBANG Comeback

Tuesdays have suddenly become a favorite of mine, mostly because I get to sit here and squee over all of the upcoming K-Dramas and K-Pop comebacks I’m most looking forward to. It’s really a very exciting thing, scouring the internet for all of the goodies that come with comebacks and drama premiers, especially when you come up with a list full of personal favorites. EXO in Chicago: A Zombie’s Recap of the Day She Died

I have an ever-growing bucket list designated just for K-Pop which really, is more like a wish list of groups I want to see in person before I die, and on that list EXO has ranked high for a very, very long time. So when it was announced all those months ago, that one of the stops EXO would be making during their North American tour was Chicago, well, I very nearly dropped dead right then and there. However, I somehow managed to keep myself together long enough to buy a ticket (which also nearly killed me) and endure the endless countdown of days that ultimately brought me to D-Day. Concert Day. Better known as the day the zombie and about 4,000 other fans lost their hearts to the eight adorable members of EXO that fateful Friday night. TUNE OF THE WEEK: EXO “Love Me Right”

You know, when both Big Bang and EXO make a comeback in the same week, it’s really hard not to pick one of them to feature as my Tune of the Week. So rather than spend countless hours scouring the internet for a worthy Tune to compete with the two, I’ve decided to just cave to the pressure and go with one of them because, quite frankly, there’s no reason to fight this one. Both tracks are worthy to be featured in my weekly post but I’ve opted for EXO this time around. Why? You mean you need more of a reason than because it’s EXO? TUNE OF THE WEEK: EXO “Call Me Baby”

Oh goodness! When EXO released the videos for “Call Me Baby” earlier this week, I had no doubt I’d be making it my Tune of the Week. I just had no idea that when I watched said videos, I’d end up writhing on the floor, gasping for breath. Yeah, I know, I’m a (somewhat) crazy fangirl but what can I say?
