FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Descendants of the Sun

poster 2

Like so many other drama lovers out there, when I first sat down to watch this weekend’s drama, I was immediately hooked. There was just something about the chemistry between the leading characters that drew me in and I spent the next two months dying for the next episode to be released. Of course so was pretty much every other drama watcher in the world so writing this week’s review might be a bit pointless but I’m gonna write it anyway because who doesn’t want an excuse to squee over Song Joong Ki write about Descendants of the Sun? Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Descendants of the Sun”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Cheese In The Trap

Cheese in the Trap Poster

After wrapping up my weekly review of Cheese In The Trap, I had every intention of just walking away and never looking back and in all honesty, that’s probably what I should do. But the more I think about it, the more I feel like it’s my duty to warn those poor unsuspecting souls out there who might come across this drama and think it’s something worth watching and well, I just don’t want anyone to suffer the pain I’ve suffered from this drama so I’m sitting here now, ready to write a review which will probably bring me a lot of grief but whatever. I’m writing this warning for the greater good, to spare fellow drama lovers the unnecessary pain that will inevitably come from watching this drama.  Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Cheese In The Trap”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Falling For Innocence

title

This week’s drama to marathon is one that hooked me from the very beginning and refused to let go until I’d finished watching the whole darn thing. (Not that I’m complaining!) Of course once I’d finished watching I had to spend the rest of the evening trying to put the pieces of my heart back together but that’s the sign of a truly great drama, isn’t it? Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Falling For Innocence”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: High End Crush

meeting

This week’s drama to marathon is easily one of the most fun dramas I’ve watched in a long time. I laughed my way through this entire drama and squeed myself silly (okay, silly-er)  in the process. I actually had so much fun watching this drama, I couldn’t stop and ended up marathoning the entire thing myself. (Note to Self: Marathoning a drama is fine but squeeing loudly over biases at 2 AM is not advised when tiny zombies are sleeping nearby…) Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: High End Crush”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Reply 1988

title

Every once in a while you come across a drama that’s so refreshingly real and relate-able that as you watch it you become so immersed in the story you forget the characters aren’t real people and their lives are completely made up. As the story goes along, you find yourself becoming so convinced of the reality of these characters that they start to feel like your best friends, your neighbors, your family, so much so that by the end of the drama, you’re left bawling your eyes out because you’ve been forced to say goodbye to people you’d much rather keep around forever. To find a drama this incredible is a rare thing indeed so when I find one, you can bet your sweet bippy I’m gonna be recommending it to you which is why I’m sitting here now, trying not to bawl my eyes out as I talk about this week’s drama, Reply 1988. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Reply 1988”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: The Secret Message

title

With the craziness of the holiday season in full swing, there hasn’t been much time for me to marathon dramas. However, even as I’m baking a zillion cookies and sewing K-Pop plushies, I’ve managed to find the time to fit in a mini-drama here and there so I’ve still got a drama for you to watch this weekend. If you’re not too busy Christmas partying, that is. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: The Secret Message”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: She Was Pretty

title

This weekend’s drama to marathon has to be one of the cutest dramas I’ve watched in a while. It’s full of adorable characters, a sweet plot-line and more warm-fuzzy inducing moments than a box full of  kittens. In short, it’s the perfect drama to marathon during this holiday season (especially if you tend to suffer from more holiday blues than cheer) and one I’m sure you’ll love almost as much as Santa loves cookies.
