ZOMBIE’S TOP PICKS: January 2018

In my never-ending quest to come up with new and (hopefully) enjoyable content, I’ve decided to put together a collection of all my favorites from the past month. In part because I thought it would be a fun thing to do and also because I have a really hard time remembering things and I thought this would be a good way to remind myself of everything I’ve watched/listened to/ squealed over this past month. This way when I’m sitting down at the end of the year, trying to remember everything I loved about 2018, I might actually be able to come up with something more than a blank wall inside an empty brain. TUNE OF THE WEEK: INFINITE “Bad”

I know INFINITE made their comeback with “Bad” last week but I was slightly sidetracked by a different comeback at the time so I didn’t have much time to squeal over INFINITE. But now that I’ve maybe… sorta… kinda… mellowed a bit… uh… Okay, that’s not at all true so we’re just gonna move along…  “Bad” really is a fantastic song and I just couldn’t let it go without saying something so I’m making it this week’s tune. K-POP ONE-STOP: July 10-17, 2015

Do you ever feel like dancing for no other reason than just because? Well that’s me today. I don’t even have a reason for it, really. I’m just happy it’s Friday. Maybe I’m happy that a week from today I’ll be seeing BTS in person. Maybe it’s because the sun is shining, my kids are playing nicely (for once) or because I ate a giant bowl of kimchi stew for lunch. TUNE OF THE WEEK: Let the Voting Begin!

In my quest to find the perfect tune to feature this week I ran into a little problem. I just couldn’t find a single tune that really stood out from the rest. I think the problem was simply that a whole lot of music was released this week, which made choosing a favorite insanely difficult. With that being a case, I’ve decided to pick a few of different tunes this week and let you vote on which one you think deserves the title of “Tune of the Week”.

RELEASE THE FANGIRL! MAMA 2014

You know, when I woke up this morning and realized I was up early enough to catch part of the 2014 MAMA broadcast live, I was pretty stoked. It’t not every day you get to settle in front of your computer with a cup of coffee and a slice of banana bread and watch so many of your favorite idols perform in one place and I thought to myself, “Oh, what a lovely way to start my day!” I should have known that the calm and peaceful morning I’d been expecting was never going to happen because, well, anything involving K-Pop generally ends in me spazzing.
