opening titleZombie: Can you believe it? The end of Emergency Couple has finally come… *sniff sniff* Yes, I’m holding back my tears… but honestly, it’s not because this drama has ended, it’s more “I don’t want to say goodbye to my lovely friends!” Continue reading “HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Emergency Couple Episodes 20-21 (4/4)”

Gook Chun Soo watches Oh Chang Min and Oh Jin Hee kissEmergency Couple has officially ended. What will I watch now? The ending was nice, but the story still left me scratching my head. My name is Karen and it has been a pleasure for me to write Emergency Couple Hallyu Zombie reviews with my partners, Zombie Mamma and Tanya. Over the course of eleven weeks, we have experienced the ups and downs of our Emergency Couple couples so I would like to give my final thoughts on each couple. HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Emergency Couple Episodes 20-21 (2/4)

Well, as they say “all good things must come to and end.” That’s now the case for Emergency Couple as its last two episodes aired, but I am left feeling content overall. The struggle of these characters over the past 11 weeks didn’t necessarily make sense at first, but once you look past the minor details you can definitely enjoy the storyline. Let’s jump into the last two episodes. Continue reading “HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Emergency Couple Episodes 20-21 (2/4)”

four friendsThough it’s hard to believe, this week brings with it the final episodes of Emergency Couple and while this drama and I got off on the wrong foot, I’ll be the first to admit that this drama has steadily grown on me, so much so that I’m actually a little sad to be saying my final farewells. Oh Jin Hee - I'm going to start over with you again.jpg

Tanya: I think that we have come to the conclusion that this week’s episodes have been the best of the series so far. And about time because we only have one week left!

Karen: As I mentioned in my review, this week’s episodes had the perfect mix of emergency room drama and love drama. It also didn’t hurt that there weren’t too many negative things going on as well. I’m just waiting for that happy ending next week. Continue reading “Hallyu Zombie Drama Review: Emergency Couple Episodes 18-19 (3/3)”

Oh Jin Hee looks at Oh Chang Min

Sweet-o! I’m really going to miss Emergency Couple after it ends. I feel like we have rolled past all the major obstacles in this show to get to the sweet and fun moments. Remember how depressing the first two episodes were? Fear not, the drama only gets better and I even want some of the stuff featured in this drama. Hallyu Zombie Drama Review: Emergency Couple Episodes 18-19 (1/3)

Slowly, progress is being made in Emergency Couple as we are winding down to our last two weeks. I am glad that Jin Hee finally got a clue that she hasn’t completely moved away from Chang Min even after all of these years. I don’t understand why it took her seeing her old wedding ring to suddenly bring these feelings back, but I guess something had to be the trigger. While we are talking about feelings here, I understand Chang Min has come to an a good place, the girl you have been chasing after says she likes you. Stop pushing her away! You may want to think that you are doing the right thing, but you are also making it harder on yourself.

Emergency Couple interns pay respects to Oh Tae Suk.jpg

Tanya: The big hitter this week was the passing of Chang Min’s father, of course. What do you think about how he and his mother handled all of that? I was actually impressed with his mom for not attacking Jin Hee and showing some sort of respect when she and her mother came to the wake.

Karen: I think Chang Min’s family was put in a tough situation. I’m surprised at how well they tried to cope with the terrible news. One thing that I couldn’t understand was why they kept pushing Oh Jin Hee out of their lives at this point. She offered them support, but they didn’t seem to appreciate that because of their past relationships.
