If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you know by now that I’m super excited about KCON this year but what you might not know is there’s actually more to my spazzing than just my inner fangirl breaking free. So what is that reason, you ask? Well it’s because this year, I’ve been invited to be a special guest at North America’s largest convention of “All Things Hallyu”, KCON! Can you believe it!?!
It’s alright if you’re as shocked by this news as I was when I first got that invitation email, all those months ago. It takes a bit of time to process such awesomeness and to be perfectly honest, I’m still having trouble believing this is real and I’m sitting here, in L.A. as I type this, just three days away from this weekend of Hallyu awesomeness. (Someone pinch me please!)
For those of you going to KCON, I hope you take the time to join me at one (or all) of the panels I will be participating in as I will be talking about all manner of K-Drama goodness and Hallyu blogging in general. More specifically, I will be part of the “HOW TO HALLYU BLOG” Panel in Tent 4 at 12:30 pm and the “BEYOND “ALMOST PARADISE”: INTO THE K-DRAMA OST” Panel in Tent 3 at 2 pm on Saturday and the “SECOND LEADS AND SECOND LEADS SYNDROM” Panel in Tent 2 at 11 am on Sunday.
If you’re one of the lucky ones headed to KCON this weekend, I hope you’ll take the time to find me and say “Hi!” I’d love the chance to meet you all in person and I’m always more than happy to squee with you over the amazing line up of artists KCON has scheduled this year. See you soon!
