Born to Beat is back with an adorable new song “You’re So Fly” and since I’ve been squealing over Sungjae since his debut as a member of Big Byung, I just had to make this song my Tune of the Week.
The first track on their fifth mini-album, MOVE, “You’re So Fly” is the creative work of Tenjo and Tasco and it’s so much fun, you won’t be able to keep yourself from dancing along as you listen. I love the groovy retro sort of vibe of this song and the lyrics are so great. I mean, who doesn’t want a bunch of adorable guys singing about how wonderful you are and how much they want to be with you? Goodness! It’s the stuff girls spend their whole lives dreaming about! I think what makes this song even better is the fact that we went through an entire tune without breaking into any sort of overdone, unnecessary dub-step interlude. (Praise all the K-Pop gods for that one!) This whole song was just one big happy retro funk delight and I loved every minute of it!
The video for this song is just as much fun as the song itself and I still can’t watch it without laughing. Why are these boys so funny? I really don’t know… Maybe I’m just in the right mood to watch this and find it fantastic. Since that’s highly possible, I’ll leave it up to you to tell me if this song is really as great as I think it is or if I’m just being a bit too fangirly today.
