TUNE OF THE WEEK: C-Clown “Let’s Love”

group 1

It feels like I’ve been waiting just about forever for C-Clown to make their comeback and this week they did, in a big way, with their incredibly amazing new track, “Let’s Love”.

A fantastic mix of hip-hop and dance, with a touch of rock thrown in for good measure, “Let’s Love” makes you rethink your entire definition of what a good love song should be. You’ll find no happy-sappy, sugary sweet ballads here, just the simple confession of a boy (or boys, as the case may be) proclaiming, quite boldly, that he’s “Mr. Right” and all the other guys in the world are hosers. (Okay, so that’s my paraphrase but it’s essentially what the song’s about.) Produced by Shinsadong Tiger (known for his work with 4Minut, BEAST, Trouble Maker, T-ara, Ailee and Apink, to name a few), Caesar & Loui and Andreas Oberg, “Let’s Love” is the title track of C-Clown’s newest mini-album.

I think what I like the most about C-Clown’s “Let’s Love” aside from sound itself, is how the band is portrayed in the music video. They come across as tough, bad boys but the lyrics reveal they have a soft spot for the girl they like which makes them absolutely irresistible. I mean, let’s be honest, is there a girl in the world who doesn’t dream of being the love interest of a bad boy? (Or maybe that’s just me… I do have a thing for bad boys, you know.)

Whether you like bad boys or not, if you’re a fan of C-Clown, K-Pop, hip-hop or just good music, you ought to give “Let’s Love” a listen and you should most definitely check out the video because it’s quite the visual treat (especially if you’re a fan of Rome… Just sayin’). Of course once you’ve given “Let’s Love” a listen, be sure to let me know what you think by leaving me a comment below!

  1. Loved this video! These boys are adorable, but what was the director thinking? If you’re going to have Rome shirtless, for goodness sake, turn on the lights! What’s up with the shadows?! 😉

    1. Seriously! I was wondering the same thing myself. Sometimes you just have to shake your head at these directors and their crazy “artistic” ways. Haha!
