It’s that most wonderful time of year again, the time of year that makes my heart happy and my thoughts sappy. Yup! Christmas time is upon us which means it’s time to don the Santa hat, grab a cup of hot chocolate, curl up with my snowman blanket and my lappy and indulge in that most guilty of pleasures, the cheesiest KPop MVs of the year… Christmas videos!
The first video I’ve come across this season is a gem of a video, full of those adorable boys who waltzed into my life back in March and stole my heart with their sweetness. That’s right, I’m talking about Boyfriend and oh my goodness! Those boys are way too cute for their own good! (Especially Hyunseong with those glasses and that puppy… Augh!) But there’s more to this video than just Boyfriend. K.will, Sistar, Junggigo, Mad Clown and Jooyoung all appear in this star-filled holiday gem and honestly, that was enough to sell me right there.
The song itself is everything a sappy holiday song should be. It’s poppy and bubbly and so darn cute! It makes me want to bundle up in my cutest winter gear and go meet my love by the big Christmas tree downtown as the snow gently falls around us. (I can’t say it would be the first snow of the season because that was on Halloween but I won’t be picky. Any snow will do, so long as it’s not a blizzard!) As for the video… I absolutely adore watching idols ditch their various images to take on the role of the super-sappy holiday enthusiast so I’m a fan. It’s so cheesy it makes my fingers curl but I can’t stop watching. It’s a problem, I know…
