MOVIE OF THE MONTH – Alice: Boy From Wonderland

In my ongoing quest to spice things up a bit around here, I’ve decided it might be a good idea to throw a monthly film review into the mix. There are an awful lot of films out there, just waiting to be watched and reviewed and since I watch a lot of them already, I figured I might as well take a little time to write about them. Because, why not? That being said, I’ve decided that Alice: Boy From Wonderland would be a pretty good film to start with mostly because it’s a creepy mental thriller that fits perfectly with all of the pre-Halloween shenanigans going on at my house at the moment. Drama Ramblings with Zombie Mamma – Episode 3: It’s Complicated

Believe it or not, I’m back with yet another episode of Drama Ramblings. (Woohoo!) This week it seems like all of DramaLand has decided to focus on complicated relationships and frustrating me to no end, which gives me a whole lot of goodness to ramble on about. (Which in all honesty, kinda surprises me because in all honesty I’m a writer, not a talker so this whole talking to myself for an hour or so, while I record these podcasts, really makes me laugh.) DRAMA OF THE MONTH: Cinderella and Four Knights

TUNE OF THE WEEK: SEVENTEEN “아주 NICE”

I have to admit, choosing a single “Tune” to squee over talk about this week was really hard! Between BEAST’s “Ribbon” and NCT 127’s “Fire Truck” and Taemins’ Japanese release “さよならひとり” (to name a few) there are just too many great songs to choose from! (Not that I’m complaining!) TUNE OF THE WEEK: SEVENTEEN “Love Letter”

SEVENTEEN has stolen my heart once again and is my choice for “tune” of the week, with their latest MV “(세븐틴) –S.Coups - SEVENTEEN 사랑쪽지(Love Letter)”.

Last night as I lay in bed, miserable from this summer heat (Arkansas humidity is no joke), “Love Letter” came on my YouTube playlist and immediately my spirits were raised. I wanted to twirl in circles with Woozi, splash around in the pool with S.Coups, frollick through grassy meadow with handsomely pretty boys in pastel suites, and dream of a summer romance with SEVENTEEN. *be still my beating heart*

The song has a very carefree and fun vibe, and while Woozi and DK have been my favorite vocals from the beginning, Mingyu caused actual chills during his seductive solo, and his little Elvis leg shake didn’t help matters any at all. *excuse me I need a moment to compose myself…..deep breathe and exhale*

The MV itself, is filled with fun and candid moments amongst the members of SEVENTEEN. The smiles are truly genuine and my heart turns to ultimate mush with Vernon’s eyes smile. The members of SEVENTEEN are true charmers and I will be awaiting patiently for my “Love Letter” from them.SEVENTEEN
