I made this cake in honor of a friend of mine who lost her three-year-old daughter to cancer. Every year, on her birthday (which happens to be October 30) we make a chocolate cake and eat it to remember Bethany. This years cake was a dark chocolate masterpiece that left my own kids buzzed for days! This cake needs to come with a warning label and should only be eaten on the weekend as sleep will not come easily after!
