THE DEATH OF A ZOMBIE FANGIRL: A RECAP OF BTS’ EPISODE II: THE RED BULLET TOUR IN CHICAGO

group 7

Friday night, BTS took the stage of Chicago’s Rosemont Theater by storm, the third of four stops in the North American leg of their Episode II: The Red Bullet Tour and I was there to witness it all, a dying zombie in a sea of euphoric ARMYs. A CITY, A CONCERT AND A ZOMBIE

Group 2

Hey there everyone! I know I don’t have any of my regular Friday posts up this week and for that I’m sorry. I just wanted to let you know that I’m still here, I’m just slightly busy at the moment… Something about BTS being in my city… and a concert… and… Yeah. For those of you who may be headed to TRB tonight in Chicago, I hope you get all the winks and smiles and body rolls and fan-service you could every hope to have. I hope the amazing talent of BTS leaves you in awe and if you happen to shed a few tears of joy, know that you’re not alone. (Yes, sometimes even zombies cry when they’re happy.) If you’re at the concert tonight and you happen to see someone walking around with bright pink hair and glasses, looking so insanely happy she might actually explode, that would probably be me. I’d be more than happy if you stopped me for a second to say hi or squee over a bias or two… or three or four or seven… I’m always a fan of meeting new people and making new friends! Hope to see you there!

TUNE OF THE WEEK: INFINITE “Bad”

title

I know INFINITE made their comeback with “Bad” last week but I was slightly sidetracked by a different comeback at the time so I didn’t have much time to squeal over INFINITE. But now that I’ve maybe… sorta… kinda… mellowed a bit… uh… Okay, that’s not at all true so we’re just gonna move along…  “Bad” really is a fantastic song and I just couldn’t let it go without saying something so I’m making it this week’s tune. ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Mask Episodes 15-16

in his sight

I swear, when it comes to this drama, I’ve completely lost my ability to remain calm and rational. If Min Woo’s in a scene, I’m bawling like a baby. If Suk Hoon’s in a scene, I’m spitting venom like a viper. There’s just so much going on, it’s hard for me to deal with such an emotional roller-coaster and then we get this confession at the end of episode fifteen and… Well, there’s just a whole lot of ugly crying going on right now… Pardon me… I think I’m gonna need a moment… Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Mask Episodes 15-16”

K-POP ONE-STOP: July 10-17, 2015

Jump

Do you ever feel like dancing for no other reason than just because? Well that’s me today. I don’t even have a reason for it, really. I’m just happy it’s Friday. Maybe I’m happy that a week from today I’ll be seeing BTS in person. Maybe it’s because the sun is shining, my kids are playing nicely (for once) or because I ate a giant bowl of kimchi stew for lunch. It could possibly be because we’ve got a bunch of new (and super awesome) K-Pop MVs to watch… Who knows? Whatever the reason, I’m gonna dance. While I watch these videos. Care to join me? Continue reading “K-POP ONE-STOP: July 10-17, 2015”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Warm and Cozy

poster 2

This weekend’s drama to marathon is a warm, squishy drama so full of heart-melting moments that by the end of it you’ve been reduced to nothing more than a quivering puddle of goo. (Well, at least that how I felt by the end…) Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Warm and Cozy”

TUNE OF THE WEEK: GOT7 “Just Right”

Group 1

Okay everyone, you’re just going to have to bear with me on this one. GOT7 has me in such a tizzy right now, I really can’t think straight anymore which means this post is probably gonna be a bit nutty but hey, there’s nothing wrong with a little spazz from time to time. Right? Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: GOT7 “Just Right””

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Mask Episodes 13-14

violin duet

This week’s episodes were filled with so much Min Woo cuteness, I almost had a heart-attack from an overload of adorable. I swear, there’s something about that man that makes my heart melt… But there’s more to talk about this week than Min Woo’s adorable moments so let’s get to it!
