TUESDAY’S TEASE: BOYFRIEND “Never End”

Okay, so I know it’s been about a zillion years since I last wrote one of these “Tease” posts. What can I say, I suck. Well, actually it’s more like summer is just super full of kids and cross-country trips and all sorts of other adventures and writing just kind of gets pushed aside because when you live in the frozen North, you kinda gotta make the most of your warm sunny days while they last! But that’s not really why I’m sat down at my computer today. I’m sitting here because Boyfriend is FINALLY making a comeback (in Korea, no less) and I’m so flipping excited about it I just couldn’t stop squealing! (For some odd reason, my kids just don’t get as excited over comebacks as I do… Weird.) Continue reading “TUESDAY’S TEASE: BOYFRIEND “Never End””

It still feels like a dream but I’m not about to ask anyone to pinch me. I’d like to stay in this dream for as long as I possibly can. Getting to Know You: KCON 2017 Special Guest Young Ajummah

As the countdown to KCON 2017 NY continues to dwindle, the excitement around this Zombie’s house is increasing exponentially. With so much to look forward to this coming weekend, it’s really hard for me to keep all this excitement contained! (I have a feeling the random squeeing as I go about my daily life might be starting to annoy my kids…) To direct all this energy in a more positive direction I’m going to introduce another amazing KCON 2017 Special Guest to you. Because, you know, that’s way more productive than dancing around the house singing “Cherry Bomb” at the top of my lungs… (*sings* “I’m the biggest hit, I’m the biggest hit on the stage…”) Continue reading “Getting to Know You: KCON 2017 Special Guest Young Ajummah”

Getting to Know You: KCON 2017 Special Guest Joan Vos MacDonald

As I’m sure you all know, KCON 2017 NY (presented by Toyota) is only a few days away and I’m so flipping excited, I’m finding it a little difficult to calm myself down enough to focus on the tasks at hand. (Which is bad because there are A LOT of things I still need to get done before I head East.) Still, with KCON so close at hand, it thought it might be fun to take a little time to shine the spotlight on some of this year’s special guests. There are so many amazing people who come together to make KCON as awesome as it is which is why I thought it only fitting to introduce a few of them to you. After all, these are the people who work tirelessly, all year long, bringing you all sorts of Hallyu-related content. It seems only right to take a moment to get to know a little about them and maybe glean some KCON-related wisdom from them as well.
