Okay, we all know that since seeing Boyfriend in concert last March, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with these six adorable boys though really, can you blame me? They were so cute and adorable and sweet and friendly that I just couldn’t help myself and I’ve considered myself a Best Friend ever since. While I realize GD and Taeyang released “Good Boy” a couple of weeks ago it was right in the middle of my massive attack of VIXX feels and I didn’t really have a chance to squee properly at the time. I was a bit saddened by this because well, it’s G-Dragon and Taeyang and I just couldn’t understand how could I possibly miss an opportunity to squee over these two! I feel like I failed as a fangirl… *sobs* Lucky for me these two released a dance practice video for “Good Boy” on Monday so even if I’m a couple of days late with this, I can still make up for all the squees I missed the first time around. You know, when I woke up this morning and realized I was up early enough to catch part of the 2014 MAMA broadcast live, I was pretty stoked. It’t not every day you get to settle in front of your computer with a cup of coffee and a slice of banana bread and watch so many of your favorite idols perform in one place and I thought to myself, “Oh, what a lovely way to start my day!” I should have known that the calm and peaceful morning I’d been expecting was never going to happen because, well, anything involving K-Pop generally ends in me spazzing. You know, when I first got into K-Pop, I was a pretty casual listener. I’d find a group I liked, give them a listen, appreciate their music and move on. It was a simple life, full of good times and great music but as time went on and my love for K-Pop grew, I began to notice that some bands were stealing a bit more of my time and attention. At the time, I didn’t think much of this, as I chalked it all up to being a fan of the music, but as time went on I found myself skipping over different artists in, what I thought, was an innocent quest to find more music from artists that had somehow managed to catch my eye.
