Rocking Chicago: A Crazy Zombie’s Recap of Teen Top’s Red Point Stop in the Windy City

Group 1

I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I experienced one of the most exciting, nerve-wracking and incredible experiences of my life as Teen Top took to the stage of the Copernicus Center in Chicago and I fell over dead. Okay, not all the way dead. Just mostly dead. Dead-ish, if you will. And well, I may never be the same again. (Though maybe that’s a good thing…) Continue reading “Rocking Chicago: A Crazy Zombie’s Recap of Teen Top’s Red Point Stop in the Windy City”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 11-12

in the past

I’m pleased to announce that my vote of confidence in Lee Hae Joon hasn’t been completely misplaced. However, I can’t quite figure out if that’s because Hae Joon is actually becoming a better person or if it’s because so much other craziness went on in these two episodes that he kinda got lost in the background. Either way, this next set of episodes caught me completely off-guard which, I’m really kinda liking. I think. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 11-12”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 9-10

working out

I’ve been trying really hard these past few episodes, to find some sort of redemption in Rain’s character. Up to this point he’s been a total sleaze-bag and I’ve been completely disappointed in his actions up to this point. However, I’m starting to see a glimmer a hope for him and that makes me feel like there may be redemption for him yet. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 9-10”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 7-8

how i feel all the time

Every time I sit down to watch another set of episodes of this drama, I come with the hope that Hae Joon will finally get a clue and stop being a total dip. But every time I wrap up another set of episodes I walk away completely disappointed. I’d really like to believe this won’t always be the case but we’ve reached the half-way point of this dram and if things don’t change soon, they’re not ever going to change at all. *sigh* Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 7-8”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 5-6

stuck in an elevator

Despite the fact I spent a lot of time feeling like Hae Joon/Young Soo needed a good punch in the face, I still found myself enjoying these next two episodes. Though now that I think about it, that’s probably because watching Oh Yeon Seo act like a tough thug is nothing short of hilarious. Seriously, almost every time Hong Nan is on-screen, I nearly fall out of my chair laughing. Too bad the same can’t be said whenever Rain makes an appearance… *sigh* Will there ever come a day when Rain stars in a drama I actually enjoy watching? (Ouch! That was a bit harsh, wasn’t it?) Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 5-6”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 3-4

abs

I’m now four episodes into this drama and I have to say, I’m still very much enjoying it. Sure, that may have something to do with the fact Rain’s abs keep showing up in unexpected places but let’s be honest here, that will never get old. All abs aside, this story is still as intriguing to me as it was after watching the first two episodes so let’s dive into these next two episodes and see if any of the questions I asked last week were answered in these next two episodes. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 3-4”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Please Come Back, Mister Episodes 1-2

EXO in Chicago: A Zombie’s Recap of the Day She Died

exoluxion

I have an ever-growing bucket list designated just for K-Pop which really, is more like a wish list of groups I want to see in person before I die, and on that list EXO has ranked high for a very, very long time. So when it was announced all those months ago, that one of the stops EXO would be making during their North American tour was Chicago, well, I very nearly dropped dead right then and there. However, I somehow managed to keep myself together long enough to buy a ticket (which also nearly killed me) and endure the endless countdown of days that ultimately brought me to D-Day. Concert Day. Better known as the day the zombie and about 4,000 other fans lost their hearts to the eight adorable members of EXO that fateful Friday night. FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Falling For Innocence

title

This week’s drama to marathon is one that hooked me from the very beginning and refused to let go until I’d finished watching the whole darn thing. (Not that I’m complaining!) Of course once I’d finished watching I had to spend the rest of the evening trying to put the pieces of my heart back together but that’s the sign of a truly great drama, isn’t it? Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Falling For Innocence”

FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: She Was Pretty

title

This weekend’s drama to marathon has to be one of the cutest dramas I’ve watched in a while. It’s full of adorable characters, a sweet plot-line and more warm-fuzzy inducing moments than a box full of  kittens. In short, it’s the perfect drama to marathon during this holiday season (especially if you tend to suffer from more holiday blues than cheer) and one I’m sure you’ll love almost as much as Santa loves cookies.
