With the release of B.A.P’s first official album, First Sensibility, it should come as no surprise that “1004” wins this week’s Tune of the Week spotlight.
Tune of the Week
TUNE OF THE WEEK: T.O “Lie”
After a two-week deluge of K-Pop comebacks and debuts, this week has been relatively slow which is why I’ve decided to go back a couple of weeks and feature a fantastic song that kind of got lost in all of the holiday hullabaloo, T.O’s soulful contribution to the Unemployed Romance OST, “Lie.”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Lee Dong Woo “Fly With You”
I’m not sure what’s with the trend lately for K-artists to release swing-era inspired tunes but I LOVE IT! That being said, it only makes sense to make Lee Dong Woo’s “Fly With You” my tune of the week.
TUNE OF THE WEEK: B1A4 “Lonely”
B1A4 made their comeback this past week with the release of their second full-length album, “Who Am I” and since I’ve been a fan of B1A4 for quite a while, it’s only natural that their ballad single, “Lonely” would win this week’s music spotlight.
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Ailee “Singing Got Better”
This past week has brought with it the release of several new comeback songs by some of K-Pop’s biggest stars (most notably Ailee and Rain) as well as the debut of the new K-Pop boy band, BEAT WIN, so trying to decide which tune to feature has been a bit rough. However, after much research, MV watching andRead More
TUNE OF THE WEEK: TVXQ “Something”
If you love K-Pop but are looking to add something a bit different to your playlist this year, then TVXQ has just the tune for you; so naturally, it has to be my Tune of the Week!
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Yong Jun Hyung “Flower”
With Christmas behind us, it’s time to turn our attention to some of the awesome tunes that may have been overlooked during this holiday season and in particular, Yong Jun Hyung’s solo debut single, “Flower.”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Jelly Christmas 2013 “Winter Confession”
With Christmas only days away, it only makes sense that the last Tune of the Week before the big day would be the #1 rated song this week on the Gacon Chart, Jellyfish Entertainment’s collaborative work for the holiday season, Jelly Christmas 2013 and its title track, “Winter Confession.”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: EXO’s “Miracles in December”
With “Miracles in December” ranking #2 on the Gaon Chart for digital singles and #3 for online downloads for the first week of December, it only makes sense that it would win the spotlight as my Tune of the Week. What’s more impressive than how well this song has done on the ranking charts, isRead More
TUNE OF THE WEEK: CUBE Entertainment’s “Christmas Song”
With Christmas only a couple of weeks away, it’s only fitting that this week’s music spotlight should shine on one of the first new K-Pop Christmas songs of the season, which is why CUBE Entertainment’s “Christmas Song” is my tune of the week. A perfectly harmonious collaboration of some of CUBE Entertainment’s top stars, “ChristmasRead More
