Okay, so really when you’re sick on a Friday night, curling up to marathon a drama sounds like a great idea until you fall asleep half-way through an episode and wake up 10 episodes later. It’s always frustrating when that happens which is why I put off watching new dramas when I’m sick. Instead of risking missing something super important I go back to dramas I know by heart so when I randomly fall asleep, I can wake up however many episodes later and pick right back up as if I’d never been asleep at all. You know, when it was suggested I watch We Broke Up I thought to myself, “Sure! Why not? I’ll give it a try!” So I did, going into it knowing nothing more about it than that it starred 2NE1’s Dara. Honestly, that was enough of a reason for me to give this drama a go so I didn’t bother to look any more into it. I just dove right in and not two seconds into the darn thing I found myself squeeing so hard I almost fell off the couch! WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME KANG SEUNG YOON WAS IN THIS DRAMA!?! Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and now I sit here trying to find a way to control my spazzing long enough to talk about this cute little drama. When Monsta X released the “special clip” for “Hero” late last week, I nearly squeed myself out of my chair. (What!?! After months and months of impatiently waiting, the day to make one of my biggest fangirl dreams come true is FINALLY HERE!!!
Today I’m headed to the city to meet up with a friend I haven’t seen in 14 years and see my very favorite Japanese rock band, One OK Rock. (I’m also unofficially celebrating my birthday, which was actually at the beginning of the month but I’m celebrating it now by going to the concert and indulging in a mini-shopping spree at the K-Pop Store in Chinatown. ㅋㅋㅋ) Talk about an awesome way to spend the day!

I’m so flipping excited about this concert I haven’t been able to sleep most of the night (which is why I’m writing this at 5:20 in the morning). I’ll probably be the full embodiment of a zombie by the time the concert rolls around but hey, that’s what coffee is for, right?
If you’re one of the lucky ones headed to Chicago’s House of Blues this evening and you see a zombified fangirl walking around with super short, dark, spiky hair and glasses (yes, I chopped off all my pink hair *sobs*) be sure to stop me and say hi! I always love meeting new people and making new friends! If I don’t see you at the concert, you can always come back here (or find me on SNS) and we can squee over the concert together! You know, sometimes choosing a Tune of the Week is incredibly easy and other times it’s really frickin’ hard. This week was one of those “really frickin’ hard” weeks, not because there was a lack of music that struck my fancy but because there was so much music that did! Seriously!
