Once again, this past week has been a bit light on the K-Pop comebacks and debuts which is understandable, given the circumstance. While some may moan about the lack of new music, I’ve decided to embrace this slight hiatus as a way to highlight some of the awesome music that was sadly overlooked in the massive flood of K-Pop comebacks and debuts that we were blessed with earlier this year. South Korean hip-hop group B.A.P invaded the northern Midwest Saturday night at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, Indiana, making their first appearance in the Chicago-land area as stop number three in the U.S. “B.A.P Attack” portion of their LIVE ON EARTH 2014 tour.

We all know that being a K-pop fangirl isn’t easy, especially when you happen to be one of the unlucky ones who happens to live half a world away from your beloved idols. We all know the sacrifices we’ve made, skipping sleep to vote for our bias groups as they make their comeback appearances on various music shows… The ridicule we’ve had to endure as those around us scoff at our undying love for a genera of music that makes no sense to them because “you can’t understand the words…” And the agony we live with, knowing that we’ll probably go our entire lives without ever meeting any of our idols in person… See? Being a K-pop fangirl is rough but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t come with its own set of rewards.

So as I was strolling through YouTubeland last night, looking for new K-Pop tunes, I stumbled across a gem of a video from B.A.P that sent me into a fangirl tizzy like you would not believe. Though the video lacks translation, it’s not difficult to understand what they’re saying as I watched it, I slowly melted into a squishy mess of fangirl goo.
