Yes BANAs, you read that right! During their performance at KCON this past weekend, B1A4 announced they would be kicking off a world tour later this month, starting in Taiwan and moving on to Shanghai, Manila, Melbourne and Sydney before finally reaching the U.S. in early October. The “2014 B1A4 Road Trip” tour is scheduled to make stops in four U.S. cities including New York, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco which means BANAs from all over the country should be able to find a concert near-ish them, to attend. (And yes, I realize there are gaping holes in this four-stop tour but it’s a whole lot better than the typical two-stop “tours” most K-Pop groups make so I won’t complain.) So this past weekend was pretty much crap. With so many of my friends having a blast at the L.A. K-Pop Festival while I sat home miserable and depressed, I did my best to avoid Twitter because I knew my TL would be full of pics of L.A. and all sorts of K-Pop awesomeness. (It’s best not to rub salt in open wounds, ya know?) But try as I might to abstain from all manner of social media, I failed miserably as certain members of B.A. P kept tweeting about their adventures in New York City. I must admit, the distraction these random tweets provided was much appreciated as it helped me to focus on B.A.P’s upcoming concert, rather than the K-Pop festival I was missing.
As I’m sure all of you know by now, K-Pop idol group B.A.P will be returning to the U.S. later this month, making their second tour of the States less than a year from their sold-out concerts last May. This time around, B.A.P will be making four stops as they travel across the U.S., kicking things off at the Best Buy Theater in New York on April 13. From there the boys will be stopping at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas on April 16 and the Star Plaza Theater in Merilville, Indiana on April 19 before wrapping up the U.S. leg of their Live on Earth World Tour at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on April 22.
