Releasing their first EP in over a year, Teen Top have made quite a comeback with their new album Exito and the title track, “Missing” is so good I had to feature it as my “Tune of the Week”.

A smooth R&B track, “Missing” is an absolute aural delight, blending tantalizing vocals with emotional rap in a way that perfectly expresses the emotions of a toxic love.

Taking a turn towards the mature, Teen Top have exchanged the hyped-up, overly electronic dance sound of “Rocking” for smoother, mellow R&B vibes which perfectly highlight their true vocal talent. If you’ve ever doubted the talent of Teen Top, “Missing” will leave you convinced these boys are the real deal.

While the song itself is fantastic, the video for “Missing” takes things to a whole new level of amazing. A beautifully painful portrayal of the love and pain of a relationship all wrong from the beginning, this video stirs my soul and breaks my heart all at the same time. The creative use of colors, filters, blurs and focus in the filming go a long way to set the mood and convey the emotion of a song full of both pain and longing and I absolutely love it. Adding to the beauty of the video is the choreography which is every bit as fantastic as I hoped it would be. How these boys manage to make the simplest moves look so suave is beyond me but they do and Woo! I’m happy they possess such a gift!

I could sit here and sing the praises of “Missing” forever but I’d rather stop and give you a chance to tell me what you think of Teen Top’s comeback. Are you as awed by this mature comeback as I am or were you hoping for another “Rocking”? I’d love to know what you’re thinking so be sure to leave me a comment below!
